Who we are

The answers you select in the exposure check are used to generate your on-screen result. We do not collect special category data, and we ask that you do not send it to us.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your information only to respond to your enquiry, provide the download, notification or indicative assessment you have requested, and follow up about relevant CBAM advisory services. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you have initiated, and, where applicable, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Marketing

We will contact you about your enquiry and closely related services. We will not add you to unrelated marketing without your consent, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We may share it with service providers who help us operate (for example, email and form-handling providers) under appropriate agreements, and with professional or regulatory bodies where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards in line with our business and legal record-keeping needs, then delete it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email us at anthony@meridiantradeadvisory.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
